About Us

  The Cultural Society of West Texas is a dynamic organization dedicated to promoting cultural awareness, understanding, and engagement in the Lubbock community and beyond. Founded on the principles of inclusivity and celebration of diversity, our society aims to create a welcoming space where people from all walks of life can come together to learn, connect, and grow.  While officially founded in 2024, our organization has been operating since 2021 conducting interactive programs to contribute to our mission of diversity and inclusivity.

 Our goals are to:

- Foster cultural appreciation and understanding through educational programs, events, and activities.

- Provide resources and opportunities for individuals and families to explore and celebrate the diversity of our world.

- Promote tolerance, empathy, and respect for all cultures, traditions, and perspectives.

- Cultivate a sense of community and belonging through shared experiences and meaningful interactions. 

With a passionate team of donors, volunteers, and supporters, we strive to make a positive impact on our community by creating opportunities for cross-cultural exchange, dialogue, and collaboration.
